Another Successful Event held on 9th February 2024
Held in fine hot weather.
23 teams competed for the Russell Moore Memorial Trophy Won by the Taranaki Rugby Football Union team skippered by The New Zealand Rugby Coach of the year 2023 Neil Barnes.
The major beneficiary of the Tournament was Flourish (a community collaboration that makes parenting easier) run by Carla Moore (Russell's daughter).
Thanks to the big Team of Rotary volunteers, Flourish participants and Men Can Gym who helped run the BBQ on the 12th.
A successful 50/50 raffle run by Myles Derry raised $1160, the winner Mark Irving generously donated $1160 back to Flourish.
Next years tournament to be held on Friday 14th February (Valentines day) 2025 the centennial year for The Rotary Club of Ngāmotu.
